Male step down recovery services

Dartmouth House benefits from an identified therapeutic pathway within the unit. Service users are admitted into an assessment room on the ground floor with anti-ligature fittings and vision panels, before progressing upstairs into rooms with fewer anti-ligature fittings and no vision panel before finally moving to a section of the building in close proximity to a communal kitchen/diner. This encourages service users to recognise their progression towards less restriction and eventual discharge.

This offers the opportunity for a gradual increase in independence offering the opportunity for continued skills training and development and additional support in specific areas if required (negotiated with the individual and fully risk assessed).
